Following a leisurely breakfast, it’s time to explore Nairobi. Today’s highlights include a visit to David Sheldrick’s Wildlife Trust where you will see how orphaned elephants are cared for before being released back into the wild. After lunch a visit to the Karen Blixen House Museum, once the home of the Danish author of “Out of Africa” Isak Dinesen. 

Then visit the Giraffe Center, situated in a rare indigenous forest on Nairobi’s western boundary. The Center is located on the estate of Betty Leslie-Melville's Giraffe Manor and is the headquarters for the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife and the "home" of Daisy, the famous Rothschild giraffe and her relatives. The adventure continues as you take flight to the Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve. 

Your traditional safari camp is located along the Sand River, where over a million wildebeests and zebras make their migration crossing every year. 

After a warm welcome meet your professional ranger and tracker team and set off on a thrilling afternoon game drive. Return to your camp in time for "sundowners" and dinner. The rest of the evening is at leisure. (BLD)

The vast endless plains and grasslands, stretching far into the horizons as far as the eye can see is home to the Big 5 - lion, the savannah elephant, the Cape buffalo, the elusive leopard and rhino. Other animal species include herds of wildebeest, cheetah, the spotted & stripped hyena, topi, burchelle’s zebra, the Masai giraffe among many others. (BLD)

Enjoy a final game drive on the way to the airstrip. A short flight takes you back to Nairobi and on to your airport hotel. After lunch freshen up, repack and relax in your day room. This evening transfer to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward arrangements. (BL)
